Our winery is nestled in the heart of southeastern Mendoza’s productive oasis, on the southern border between Junín and Rivadavia, in the Mundo Nuevo district.
This unique region spans both departments, and, together with the Algarrobo Grande and Philips districts, forms a region largely covered by high-quality vineyards.
The dry continental climate, with hot days and cool nights, and a sandy loam soil with good drainage that is carefully balanced each year, create a very particular terroir that allows the optimal development of most grape varieties.
Red varieties like Bonarda, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Malbec have thrived in this terroir, yielding exceptional results.
The same applies to whites like Chardonnay and Ugni Blanc, especially highlighting the optimal acidity they maintain at harvest time, achieving great expressiveness of their fruity aromas.
Our Muscat deserves special mention, as it has been gaining recognition in the growing market for aromatic wines, both dry and sweet.
Our Petit Verdot, now in its fifth year, continues to surprise us with its balanced grapes, producing wines of excellent structure, rich varietal character, and pleasing flavors.
It is transported in vines by truck. The distance from the vineyard to the winery is 5 to 10 minutes, which prevents undesirable enzymatic processes from starting after the grapes are harvested.
Depending on the desired wine style, the appropriate protocol is executed. Machines from France and Italy, large-scale cooling equipment, a closed inerted pneumatic press, specific pumps for each task, and all stainless steel vessels ensure reliable and predictable technical procedures.
